Ginger Gardens: I'm Anna Wargo. I live in Beaver Falls with my husband Glenn (a counselor) and my two boys. My husband and I met running cross country together at Geneva, got married in 2014, and moved onto College Hill. I started teaching and coaching track/cross country at Beaver County Christian School. I taught until we had our second son, and of course the cost of childcare didn't make continuing to teach worthwhile for me. I had rough postpartum depression after our second, and my husband and I tried every possible thing to help me get back to feeling like myself. That's included good community, medication, counseling, and getting back to finding meaningful work outside of the house. I needed flexible work from home, that I could do occasionally with the boys around, and it needed to be low enough stress to be worth while. Ginger Gardens was created out of that need for a job that's nearly impossible to find! So I created it. I grow and sell cut flowers in Beaver County, and work out of my yard and home so that I can keep my overhead low and prices reasonable. I can't wait to connect and get flowers into your home!
